Men’s Ministry

Mission:

To intentionally provide all men opportunities to take the next step with their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The objective for CAC Men is men ministering, discipling and equipping the men of CAC in their roles as men of God, whether married, single, older, and younger. We seek to provide a venue for modeling the life of Christ to men. We do this through teaching, fellowship, and service; providing opportunity for fostering spiritual friendships and developing discipling relationships, so that men can grow in conformity to Christ, specifically in their roles as men.

Our CAC Men are energetically focusing on 5 key areas:

• Engaging men to discover Christ
• Equipping men to follow Christ
• Encouraging men to serve like Christ
• Exhorting men to obey Christ
• Enlarging the community of Christ

We do this through: 

Men’s Breakfast – Meetings that provide the opportunity for men to connect with one another. We offer great food, a time for worship, and guest speakers that will enlighten us and encourage us in our walk with Christ. Check back soon for more information on our next breakfast!

Men’s Weekly Prayer – Men meet weekly to pray for our church, family, friends, community, country, and the world. Prayer is followed by breakfast at a local restaurant. Come for coffee and be a part of our prayer group!

Bible Study & Accountability Groups – Small groups that meet regularly to study God’s word. These groups are designed to help men grow and mature in their commitment to Christ as they study the word and fellowship with other men.

Home Care Team for Widows – Men with skills who are willing to do some clean-up or minor household maintenance/repair or yard work for CAC’s widows.

Women’s Ministry

Mission:

We are women who follow Christ and are in a variety of seasons of life! While our lives are diverse, we have one thing in common: we are all Daughters of the King. We laugh together, we cry together, we serve together, and most of all we desire to deepen our faith as we live life together. Each day we strive to carry out the commandments of the Father, to love God and love People. We do this through feeding the hungry, strengthening the young, binding up the injured, and caring for the broken and lost. We seek to live out the Great Commission, to make “Disciples of all Nations” so all will come to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Vision:

Like most forms of ministry, CAC women’s ministry is Jesus-centered. It’s all about helping other women to come to Christ and grow in Christ. It’s about encouraging people to understand the gospel, respond to the gospel and apply the gospel to every aspect of life. And that happens when women engage with God through his Word and prayer, in the community of the local church.

Our Women’s ministry involves in:

• Running pre-evangelistic events where non-Christians can get just a tiny glimpse of Christ and His community
• Being involved in social action projects with an emphasis on loving other women eg crisis pregnancy centers, visiting women’s prisons, visiting elderly housebound ladies
• Friendship evangelism where we intentionally share the gospel with the women we meet in the office, the school gate or our ante-natal classes
• Reading the Bible one-to-one with a non-Christian friend
• Helping a new Christian understand basic doctrine or Christian living
• Leading a women’s Bible study group
• Reading the Bible one-to-one with a Christian sister
• Speaking at women’s breakfasts
• Offering pastoral care and counselling where the truths of the gospel are applied to the difficult situations of life. The list is almost endless

But it’s not just about CAC women being active. It’s about CAC women being intentional. The key to our women’s ministry is looking at the needs of the women in Christian Assembly Church and the local community and thinking strategically about how best to meet those needs.

Our aim is to ensure every woman in this congregation has the opportunity to:

• Hear and respond to the gospel (Acts 16:13-15)
• Grow in godliness (Ephesians 4:22)
• Be spurred on to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24)
• Be equipped for service (Ephesians 4:12)
• Be active in making disciples (Matthew 28:16-20)

Singles Ministry

Mission:

It is our mission to give God the glory in all we do.  We will strive to create a loving community of individuals as well as provide opportunities for spiritual growth through prayer, worship, fellowship, social events, and evangelism.

 S.W.A.T. members will serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the way we live our lives, serve in the community and support one another.

Marriage & Family Ministry

God has a purpose for your relationships:

From the very beginning, God demonstrates His value of marriage and family. We affirm God’s honor of marriage and family and desire to help you find God’s purpose for your relationship. Because these relationships are a part of God’s design, we have tools that will help you navigate your relationships. Whether you are thinking about getting married, building your marriage and family, or walking through a difficult place, there is a plan just for you.

Through Christ, revitalizing God’s perfect plan of growing and nurturing strong healthy marriages that last a life time.

Mission:

Marriage Couple Ministry is dedicated to equipping married couples with biblically based principles, tools and resources they need to build strong marriages and families, through Christian instruction workshops, family enrichment activities, fellowship opportunities, premarital counseling, and marriage mentoring programs. We strive to by offering relevant, structured and practical Godly solutions to the daily issues of life.

Ministry Objectives

• Inspire couples and individuals to strengthen their own marriages so they can then reach out to help other couples who need healthy role models.
• Serve couples by sending monthly E-mail Marriage Messages that will challenge and help them to apply God’s Biblical principles in their marriages every day.
• Collaborate with other like-minded ministries, organizations, and individuals in order to broaden the scope and depth of ministry to those who are struggling in their marriages.
